If they didn't limit what the guys could do for the "WWE style" this wouldn't be needed. There's not that many moves that they are allowed to do that look legit enough outside of finishers that you could just barely kick out of for a reaction.

These Owens-Cena matches are overrated as fukk to me cause of all the finisher kickouts.. like I was cracking up when Cena "couldn't believe" that Owens kicked out of the first AA. Like nikka NOBODY gets pinned by that shyt anymore, why are you surprised?

Three AA's... three pop-up powerbombs... come on man :scust:

The AA dun crossed into Angle Slam territory... nikkas done kicked out of the Angle Slam so much it became as common as a regular suplex for King Kurt.

Back in the day you when a dude hit his finisher it was OVER. Maybe you get one flash kickout to add some serious drama, but that was very rare, and if he ever hit the finisher again it was 100% over.

WWE is too stuck in this finisher kickout bullshyt.. if they wanted to get creative they could have Owens/Cena keep escaping from the others finisher, but that would take more creativity than just "ok let's have him kick out of the AA again"

i remember thats what killed the cena-rock matches for me

Yep! I agree. I also think it's weird that anyone can do a superkick now and get 2, but when Michaels does it it gets a 3. Same how the DDT just became a staple of every match, but when Jake/Raven/Dreamer did it, it was a wrap. But then "as needed" it could get a 3 count (like when Rock got a 3 count over Triple H with a DDT in the Ironman match.)

The other day my buddy at work was talking about how not many finishers these days look very powerful. That's another reason why NXT is cool. They still don't go full on but it seems like maybe they allow those guys to do at least a few more risky moves?

Yeah they definitely let them go a little deeper with the move sets on NXT even my girl pointed that out. I guess cause technically it is developmental and because they're not banking on them as much as the guys on the main roster.

Why can't the crowd chant whatever they want? They bought tickets to the show. :troll:

Each big move made me care less and less in this third bout.

The first match was great, the second was good and the third was tired and redundant,

I would have preferred to not have seen one finisher until the very end.

Wwe? Most major promotions are doing this finisher thing . It's a natural progression from when faces were winning with crossbodies and roll ups and heels only won by squashes fukkery and cheating . Nxt is one of the only ones that doesn't finisher spam and maybe LU( though they spam life threatening moves). NJPW isn't as bad with it and uses variations but it happens in matches depending on your status in the company .

If you think the E is bad, ROH is ten times worse with this shyt. :snoop:

We're talking specifically about Cena matches. He overdoes it to the extreme. In fact, Cena's in ring psychology is almost non-existent. Hardly sells moves or injuries, does moves just to show that he can do them (and he usually still can't do them anyway :lolbron:), and let's not even get into his spot yelling.
