Despite being one myself, I can't deal with the 'everything needs to be handed to me on a platter mentality'. As a collective simple life skills are greatly lacking and I just feel it is going to get worse.

My breh just called me to help him setup something and I'm like breh, all the info is on Youtube...he couldn't even be bothered to watch a 5 min video, he wanted my help get off my phone.

I run a business and some of the resumes I see it is just , like there is the IDGAF attitude that you see in people who are supposed to be college educated. Let me not even talk about the interviews!

I'm 24 and it took me 6 years to finally get my first job, it's not only your generation experience this "Millennials Mentally Disabled Crisis". People in my age group, are thrown into this shyt. A job I applied to in my local area was for Quiznos, they practically implied that "A nikka like you shouldn't be working for a sandwich place like us" - being overqualified. Came back a few weeks later with my friends to eat there. The dude they hired in place of me, spoke less English than that "A durkah-durkah scene" from Team America: World Police movie, and it didn't click with me until then .
These "Equal Opportunity" employers mean they are looking to ethnically and racially expand their diversity portfolio, just without some dark chocolate. They say it's recommended/optional to be bilingual, but really prefer if you look/sound like you work for Telemundo. In the West Coast, especially L.A. it's a variety of "Paper Racism" known in Hollywood as "Typecasting". My middle name is Ebonic as fukk, but I know they reject resumes with racial bias based on how "hood" a person's first name sounds.

But they will hire somebody who has more syllables in their name to pronounce, than DOOM's holorhyme technique for multis.....

First, we weren't allowed to read and write, now we're a problem trying to avoid being the "Live past 21 years" Black stereotype, being more than capable and self-sufficient. Ironic, Native Americans gave me a chance, as cacs never did. I work for a famous Native American Casino now in SoCal, and honestly don't miss my past struggle.
But, like you said, you have these self-entitled, spineless worms bored with having the world handed to them for free, shytting on the REAL working class. The type who's mad they don't have the latest high fashion , pissed that chocolate still exists and that Nutella has to be manufactured, offended by people who aren't politically correct, yet they don't vote or research issues that affect them, etc.

In a way I am glad Hollywood leaves their kind damaged. Some want to learn the hard and long way, preferably up their ass.



That's why I smile when bad things happen to liberal prejudice fukktards, want assimilate a people's culture to "fit in" - except in accessible, "Whiteout" format.

I'm 32 as well and I can't relate to that millenial crowd.

Their ideas aren't realistif and as far as its concerned I just think that generation is lost already and will never produce anything of true value.

I'm a lil younger too but I can't relate to the entitlement, star mentality or the overall weirdness with some of the people in their early to mid 20s. I don't know if it's because I'm close to the cutoff point, I can see both sides but I relate a lot more to the older crowd. These new folk got me lookin

There's a lot of young nikkas wasting away in these homeless shelters though. I've seen it first hand here in D.C. and Charlotte..you try to talk to them and it's nothing but confusion. How the hell you 18, 19, 20 years old out here biting the concrete? You try to get their families involved and they legit hang up on you...how you burn bridges that fast and thoroughly?

My aunt works for a major hotel chain in Dallas, she was recently telling me about this recent college graduate she was interviewing for a management trainee job. She asked if she had her resume and the woman pulled out her phone and pulled it up on there and gave the phone to my aunt to review. My folk was dumbfounded. Needless to say, ole girls app was thrown in the trash after that.

When these azz baby boomers start to die off, and people from Gen X become middle aged, will be an interesting dynamic. By then, automation will be in an aggressive pace and we'll on the stages of ripping up the concept of a workforce.

I definitely agree with this thread. Back when I was the hiring manager it blew my mind how entitled new employees acted. When I was a new employee I had that hungry mentality to prove myself. I was ready to take on any new assignment and work my way up to the high salary. The younger folks I would hire would come in and it was a fight to get them to travel, most were lazy and doing the bare minimum while fussing about wanting a promotion. First thought I just hired some bad employees but it became a trend after a while. Then as I would travel to customer sites and dealing with their employees as well and saw the same qualities playing out.

Ignorance and poor grammar is not exclusive to Millennials (even with spell check). Most Americans are half retarded and I think it's due to the system stopping phonics. Also people have been lazy and entitled since SSI and mandatory minimum wages.
