Whereas a Philly dude talks/acts different, a Boston dude talks/acts different, a DC or Baltimore dude talks/acts different, a Chicago dude talks/acts different.

If you think NJ is NY-lite than you DEFINITELY do not live here. And i go to NYC almost every day.

The only areas that are really NY influenced are JC, Hoboken, and the rest of the Hudson River bound towns up to Fort Lee.

Inland NJ has almost nothing to do with NY.

But you're right tho. A West Coast dude may not tell the difference properly until we tell them.

NEw Jersey is a weird state. I have so many memories of going there to visit family from when I was younger to now coming from PA>

I got family to my mom's side that lived in Newark (near I-78)...and now they live in ATL cause they were able to get a phat house with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a backyward for well under $250,000.

I couldn't live there. I'm happy I live in NYC.
