Back To Basics having some Pop on it is irrelevant especially when you're claiming it was a return to her Jazz, Blues, and Soul roots. The first disc is pretty much all Hip Hop, R&B, Soul inspired music aside from maybe 1 or 2 songs. Additionally, you're talking about her abandoning the Urban sound.

Urban =/= "popping that thang" or using slang. That's cracker talk from people on the outside looking in who have no real understanding or concept of sound. They see one artist doing it and box everyone else into that same category.
