Why doesnt Brazil send their top know world cup squad to olympics? they would get the gold obviously, but instead teams use younger players and groom them.

Olympic soccer has different rules than basketball. Squads have to be made up of u-23 players with 3 overage players allowed. Basketball got rid of their age restrictions allowing teams to bring professionals. Even with the age caps the soccer teams are made up of professionals too, just younger.

I am saying I feel this is more appropriate for olympics it brings more competiveness for the games..maybe i am playing devils advocate, i cant say that because many other countries look at it the same way.
