There are a few potential dangers associated with going to a mall, including:

  1. Crime: Malls can be crowded places, making them attractive to pickpockets, thieves, and other criminals. Crimes such as theft, assault, and even more serious offenses can occur at malls.
  2. Accidents: With so many people moving around the mall, there is always the potential for accidents. Slip and falls, tripping over merchandise, and collisions with other shoppers or shopping carts are all possible.
  3. Health Risks: In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, crowded indoor spaces like malls can be a potential health risk. It is possible to contract infectious diseases like COVID-19 or the flu in crowded areas like a mall.
  4. Emergencies: Malls can be large and complex buildings, making it difficult to find exits or navigate in an emergency. Additionally, if an emergency like a fire or severe weather occurs, the large crowds can make evacuation challenging.
  5. Financial Risks: Shopping malls are designed to encourage spending, which can lead to impulse purchases and overspending. This can be a financial risk for people who are already struggling with their finances.

I go a few times a year for gifts. Sometimes I'll go for myself if I'm traveling and need to pick up stuff for the trip without having to drive to multiple stores. More often than not I go for gifts. Most malls have a Sephora and I like getting my gf stuff from there. The staff is super helpful. Low key if you ever want to feel like The Man, walk in there with some basic knowledge of the type of perfumes or smells your girl likes. You'll have employees AND women shoppers in there scrambling to give you suggestions, ask questions to narrow down exactly what your girl likes, etc. I damn near feel like the store is gonna bust out in applause after I check out.

There's nothing like being able to physically see, feel and try the clothes you buy. Online ain't the same. Malls have gone away from the socializing aspect of it. They need to bring it back. Everything can't be about shopping. Besides its a great place to get some walking and activity during the cold winter months or a really hot days for those of you in the desert humid areas.

Not sure what type of malls y'all go to where you see drug dealing and pick pockets. Y'all need to upgrade your mall.

Only malls remaining around me are the higher end ones. The Chicago Water Tower type malls still kicking but the Evergreen Plaza type malls are dying out.

Sad because I love malls. I was in heaven over in Asia because they got the 9 story malls damn near everywhere.

I still go, hit the food court for lunch. Christmas season they always got vendors with unique gift ideas. My gym is part of the mall, in there 6 days a week.

I hate crowds so I hate malls. I like to be in and out, not trying to walk damn near half the building to get to a paticular store. That happened to me at Garden State mall in Jersey. fukked around and got lost trying to find the Apple Store and it was on the 2nd floor on the other side of the mall. American Dream was pointless to have and it shows because it barely gets foot traffic, has plenty of spaces for lease still available after 2 years, and not to forget to mention the owners (Iranian Jews) are in debt coming out of their ears.
