trust me breh, at 175-190, nikkas are in shape. Heavyweight would be the best bet bc they all think just like you. Seen it several times, big nikka swear he got hands and technique and do little stupid shyt like drop his shoulder before a punch or throw arm punches thinking that jab snaps and get fukked up. Boxing is not just something you pick up and try just to do it, punches actually hurt, it's WAY harder than it looks, you will get embarrassed by someone if you haven't been boxing for years by now.

Boxing and combat sports are some of the most difficult sports to become great at.

I used to always get a kick out of the people in high school who thought they could become a boxer because they would beat up other people who didnt know how to throw a punch :mjlol:

It really gets funny when the college football guys are briefly home for summer break and decide to drop by the dojo and try a free class.

Of course since they see the word ‘Karate’ they automatically come in and can’t wait to show us how much “MMA” they’ve been watching.

Oh, and don’t worry about them keeping up with the class since “I'm in shape because I play football bro”... *chuckles

Haven’t had one to make it through an entire class yet. They ALL drop off and leave, or sit on the floor against the wall, humbled, as class continues. And they never forget KYOKUSHIN.

I got them genetics, People have always called me big and stocky, whereas most dudes were just skinny. I swear if y'all see my y'all be like look at this Gorrilla ass nikka:picard:. I know size isn't everything, but if I had the technique and speed, that's like the perfect combo. If I fought at 175-190 I think I would've been nasty and my chin would've been good. A George Forman Middle weight with technique and power:whew:

Damn I wish I woulda tried some type of sports:mjcry: I'm thinking up picking up boxing or Muay Thai as a hobby though:jawalrus:

nikka I’ll beat the shyt outta you, NO CAP

Boxing is a sport where ability and drive matters more than being a natural athlete.

If you're not driven in your day to day life, you wouldn't make it as a pro. Weight cutting, training through injuries, performing in front of a crowd. Muscle memory, understanding of angles.

What you have to learn and endure is tough. If people had what it takes, you'd see them thriving in their area of interest.

i'm gonna pick up fighting 2020 to learn to knock dudes out
My ole lady picked up Muay Thai a couple of years ago and she took some firearm shooting courses. After a year of training you would probably be able to run the average out of shape man a decent fade or maybe even beat his ass if you swing first.

You feel that way based off your physical abilities.

But boxing is alot more than just your physical ablities, esp when u get to the top of the divisions.

When I think of 175lb boxers I think of Andre ward, Hopkins, James Tony

All guys who where not the most physically gifted, but have extremely high fight iq.
