I got them genetics, People have always called me big and stocky, whereas most dudes were just skinny. I swear if y'all see my y'all be like look at this Gorrilla ass nikka:picard:. I know size isn't everything, but if I had the technique and speed, that's like the perfect combo. If I fought at 175-190 I think I would've been nasty and my chin would've been good. A George Forman Middle weight with technique and power:whew:

Damn I wish I woulda tried some type of sports:mjcry: I'm thinking up picking up boxing or Muay Thai as a hobby though:jawalrus:

I'll knock yo teeth out bytch ass neekra but you should deff pick up boxing or Muay Thai as a hobby

No worries, as long as you’re out of shape then all your boxing aspirations will fade away midway though your first training sesh as you’re out of breath seeing stars and ready to vomit.
shyt even just jumprope..

Took me a month of 4 classes a week and time at home to be able to jump rope:mjgrin:

Yo breathing gotta be on point. If you smoke quit now

I got in the ring last year with an amateur nikka boxed me up lmao i couldnt breathe and stopped swinging

The coach told me i was better than most first timers tried to get me to join the club. He lowkey thought i was 16 17 im like bro im 28 i wish i woulda picked it up earlier lol i gotta go back but that shyt was hard af different level from fighting nikkas in the streets. Footwork and breathing gotta be on point and you gotta keep throwing thehands. His coaching style was fighting behind the jab

Everybody had hands in the gym though wasnt no tough guy shyt allowed. This was in north carolina

OP has clearly never actually trained boxing. :mjlol:

The conditioning work alone is a monster, you really have to be able to go the distance. My first class I legit almost passed out, and I've seen several newbies throw up on their first day. It's a cool sport to get into but the intense training will make or break you.

I feel you.
I be seeing all this Spanish boxers that's like 21-2 or some shyt and they look like shyt and fight like shyt.
I know for a fact I could've made it and been told this but I traded in my training and early career for the streets, treachery and loyalty to dumb nikkas that was my "homies. "
Worst mistake ever on paper but then I think about all the shyt that could go wrong in that ring any given night and just chalk it up as everything happening for a reason.

I think I would have, no joking.

For being short and chubby growing up I always had pretty quick hands, but my punching power didnt really coming in till I got older.

With very minimum boxing training I have spared against 3 pro fighters 1 heavy and 2 light heavies. And a few gg.

One of them actually sparred against winky Wright, Traver, and another local, but big name boxer I cant remember right now.

Even he gave me props on how good my jab is. Deceptively quick and good power for a jab.

My defense is pretty good too. Especially for someone that hasn't had much footwork training.

When we get together to spare you can def see the difference in the skill levels. But for the group of guys with limited to no training I always pretty much dominate when I want. I always try to take a few punches here n there to prepare me when I'm sparring the ones that's much better than I am.

Got dropped by one of the pros 1 time. He knew I was a limited skill guy, but after a lil feeling out session I hit him with a nice double jab that shocked him. Bout a min later he tricked me with a feint and hit me with a hook!

I didn't feel it, but all I know I caught myself b4 I hit the ground. I stood up and he asked if I was good. I said yea, I slipped. My boy was like nah, he hit yo ass!!! Lol

Every nikka knows he's 6 months and a personal trainer/chef away from a run at being a professional athlete.

Outside of football, I wouldn't bet on boxing skill. Even naturally untrained gifted boxers would get washed by a mediocre guy who trains everyday and listens to instruction.
