My dude said there is a huge gap between Carson Wentz and Drew fukking Brees :russ:

I love the coli

Drew Brees is largely a creation of Sean Payton. Remember he wasn't very good at San Diego.

I prefer QBs that will be great regardless of the system, coach, or players around them. That is the true sign of greatness. Everything else is a mirage.

All you have to do is watch Brady play to know he's more of a system player than Aaron Rodgers.
IDK what that means though. Both he and Rodgers can make all the throws. If you mean, his offense is developed around his talents and what he does best, sure. Then every qb is in a system :yeshrug: (or at least should be). You're using "system" in be plug and play which isn't the case with the Pats. They change schemes far too often to lock them into this idea of a system. WHat's their offensive system philosophy then?

How do you know Wentz isn’t only successful in the Pederson system which relies a lot on RPO and 50% college plays.

I'm not sure about that one. Brees was still young obv in his charger career, but 2004-2005 he was pretty good, actually was a probowler. No doubt being with Payton has elevated him, but he's always been a talented QB and accurate. I wouldn't put him over Manning or Rodgers either though.

That's all I'm saying. He's a good QB but he's not as good as the stats he puts up. Those are largely based on the system.

Excuse me for valuing size, speed, and talent over empty stats produced by scheme.

by your logic every damn talented QBs with a good size and athleticism should become a HOFer someday. :mjlol:

size and speed got nothing to do with playing the position. just don't be a midget. 6ft 2 o first all the great pocket passers don't need speed. marino for example. and brady is great BECAUSE HE ISN'T MOBILE. he developed elite pocket awarness, footwork, and presence because he knows his limitation. and that's precisely why he is so durable. players like wentz will get hurt alot because they run around.

you probably never realize this because either you are very stubborn or just very dumb.

and back to goff, so it's a scheme when he threw a dime after dime in traffic? :mjlol: GTFO.

They should. But this is where intangibles come into play. Some guys with all the talent in the world don't really love the game and aren't driven to work hard to get the most out of their talent.

That is why I focus so much on players faces. People can say anything. They can also put on acts fronting like they're somebody they not. What doesn't lie is our eyes and face. They show what type of person we really are moreso than what we say or do when others are watching.

So I use a combination of physical tools and intangibles when evaluating players. Its why my track record is so good. See my Jayson Tatum/Markelle Fultz analysis from last year.

no QB on earth can walk right in and be a savior from day 1 without coaching help. :snoop:
peyton manning threw how many INTs in his rookie season?

aaron rodgers sat behind for 3 years behind brett favre. if he played from day 1 who knows he may never become who he is now.

brees is an ultimate competitor who got better and better. ain't no scheme can help you throw nearly 70% every damn year. it's called ACCURACY. if you watch brees and don't see greatness then you are simply a blind hater
