at the end of the day Goff still gonna throw for over 30tds near 4500 yards, and over 100 QB rating.
he ain't no brady/manning/rodgers. ain't nobody ever said goff gonna be an all timer.
but i don't see why he couldn't be matt ryan type.
and with this coaching and team around him he should have plenty of success.
he's gonna be a tier 2 very soon, and if he keeps it up who knows how he's gonna develop?

Like i said Goff CAN BE a Matt Ryan type.
i mean what's Matt Ryan. He is a good QB who is a statue. he plays well, when he has weapons. he doesn't inspire nobody and he ain't good enough to take his team to a next level. but he can be a SB winning QB with right situation. Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, etc, etc. we had plenty of these players. Goff was on his way to be these tier 2 type of a QB.
obviously Goff regressed badly because everybody around him regressed. i mean that great offense they had regressed so bad partly due to an inconsistency in the QB play due to lack of weapons.
that offense was all about Gurley's ability to run and catch. it was painfully obvious why once a great offense is now a struggling offense with no identity. you take his #1 guy, an mvp candidate out? you get this mediocre production. i mean just look at how gurley regressed. Kupp, Cooks they were all nice too. and they are gone. he got robert woods and that's about it. they have no 1000 yard rusher or receiver in today's day and age.
so basically they robbed him of a critical part of his progression. i mean dude is 26. imagine if gurley did his thing and continued to produce damn near 2000 scrimmage yards. wouldn't that help him to develop more?
now, goff looks like a damn fool when he sees the rush. he got no bailout plays. with no weapons he becomes Joe Flacco at best.
anyway personally like this trade alot. had enough of stafford and his great stat padding skills. we are done with that trash. at least we got a pick out of this.
but my worst fear is we are damn lions. we gonna ruin him even more.

Please cite one post where I said Brady was a "journey man". I've neved even said he was average. I have always said he was great. I just don't believe he's as great as his accomplishments suggest (i.e. he ain't the GOAT).

System QB ain't a journey man dumbass. You said I called him a journey man. That never happened.
And I still stand by that. Brady benefitted from the Pats system (just like all the other QBs that played when he was suspended or injured). This year he got lucky he walked into a loaded Bucs team that just a year earlier was 7-9 despite their QB throwing 30 INTs.
