I just got this retina macbook pro...

I tried to go that "cheap" route, trying to avoid a Mac because it was expensive... Regretted that shyt. Spent more money buying new, fixing, or replacing my other shyt instead of just buying a Mac and saying fukk it.

I bought a mac for basic use (actually, my wife did ... but she's moved on to her iPad Air, so I have controlling interest in the macbook now).

Had a sony vaio before. Liked it, but had to keep up with antivirus/spyware shyt, and I'd still find myself on the ipad/iphone looking up fixes for the sony. Pass.

I am perfectly ok with the fact that it may not be "the most computer for the money." I don't care. It makes my life easier, and that alone is worth every penny (I think - my wife deals with the money. I don't really think about that sort of thing).

can't wait to upgrade my ram to 16gb tho prob will do it this year
I've been a huge pc advocate until 2010 when i was using my cousins macbook tryna get them shyt on it(games or movies or etc) and i was pretty
so i caved in and got a late 2011, im never going back to pc. I know my shyt with computers like the back of my pocket and having this is sooooooooo much fukking better.

I don't think I've turned off my MacBook since 2011 and it still runs fine (except for battery).

I also got it refurbished cause I've had friends who did it and basically got SUPER inspected computers for a few hundred cheaper.

Mac are a powerhouse. Def. great for nice programs like Photoshop and Final Cut Pro plus others. Y'all are trippin.

They are still over priced though. But I want one.
