I used to think like this at one time. Until I started using a macbook.

Significantly better than the PCs I used. Admittedly, I've never used a PC in the price range of a MAc so that can factor into things. But Macs hold their value well. A 700 PC, you're replacing in 3 years. A refurbishedmac might cost you 1000-1200 [maybe even less] and 3 years you won't need to replace it and if you did want to upgrade, you could resell easily for 600-700

I hear this shyt all the time. What is it about PCs that you guys think they need to be replaced at such a rate?

I had a 2005 HP DV9000T that was going strong well into 2012 when my brother lost it. If you don't take care of your shyt, of course it's not gonna last.

Its about the individual. I keep my shyt with me at all times and I do alot of moving around. From my house, to my friends houses, school, etc. My PCs would get dinged up and parts would start falling off. Mac, not an issue. And the battery life>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yea, I don't know what any of this means. I haven't had to manually download drivers since Windows 98. Hell, plug and play is part of the BIOS nowadays. You're living in Windows 3.1 times, breh. Maybe you were doing it wrong? I dunno, but things like drivers aren't a problem for me.

As far as build quality, . Dudes in here acting like Windows laptops just falling apart at the seams, keys popping off, and shyt. The only thing on here that's not premium is the trackpad. The trackpad is gaaaaaaaarrrrrbaaaaaggggeeeee but I use a mouse anyway so it's irrelevant to me.





It's just the internet, breh. Who lies about computer specs? The whole point of this debate is that yes, I can get a more powerful computer than you and pay significantly less for it.

Just say you prefer OSX and it's worth it to you to pay extra for it. It's pretty easy. You don't have to get all homotional like this is a religion thread.

Edit: I don't have SCSI on mine though which is pretty cool. I don't think I'd use it anyway tho.

Sounds like your more savy with virus protection, and keeping your system running clean than most. I'll admit that my piracy and porn habits would destroy my windows os in 6 months requiring new installs semi annually.

On my 2006 MacBook, I just surf and nothing happens, I don't maintain shyt, this isn't apple kool aid, these are real experiences.

Maybe so, but my experience is on XP. And now my mom has a windows 8 jawn , fukk are they doing with the way they have files organized. I can't fukk wit that shyt.

Windows 8 was .

Windows 8.1 is a better version of Windows 7. They fixed the search.

And yea, the file organization is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more complicated than it needs to be. That's a real thing. Like jesus christ I don't need Favorites and Libraries and This PC and Network and Onedrive... Sometimes shyt is overcomplicated but .

I know I don't because my Mac hasn't been acting up for shyt
