How did you not know Washington state and Washington DC are seperate places? You never seen a map showing the layout of the entire country with all the states labeled before?

As someone who went on a lot of road trips between NYC and North Carolina, I always looked forward to the parts of the trip that passed though downtown Baltimore and Richmond, VA. Going towards Maine from NY, 95 passes through multiple CT cities, Providence RI, etc. Its cool seeing the buildings downtown and such. I was disappointed when we got to MA and wasn't able to see downtown Boston. I eventually was able to go to Boston years later so its all good
I am an nature lover and like natural beauty, but 95 simply isn't an enjoyable ride scenery outside of the major cities.
