I just quit my job on the 1st day

i did this as a youngsta,worked one graveyard shift at K-Mart,saw how hopeless and harrowing thee predikkament was and literally only returned to pick up my one night check..

Once a market becomes oversaturated that is essentially the worth of your degree. Supply and demand.

Law - Oversaturated, people can't find jobs.

Engineering/IT - People caught on, oversaturated.

The only thing I can see right now is Healthcare, Nursing. But I know a lot of you dudes don't want to do Nursing. It's too "Girly." Or you have to wipe old people's asses. I see people go to work, sponge bath old people at the end of their shift hop into their BMW and go home to their 2500 sq.ft house.

I did the same thing, me and the oother dish washer, he was my ride, I was only there for like 4-5 days the cooks had to wash them...it was at this golf course/resort I should have kept it tho I had made overtime in that 4 days I had more in my check than my friend who work during the day

Good move, never work a job you despise, then you are a slave to the very definition. I mean, in the sense of the word, we're all slaves in a worse form than our ancestors. Our ancestors did slave work (physical labor in which propelled their health and kept them healthy longer than the immobile slave owners), and they were paid in housing/food/clothing/medical care etc. The difference now is that we HAVE to do more work because we have to choose how we spend our slave wages. I never support anyone doing a job for any reason other than the fact that they have passion for it. There's multiple ways to survive on this planet, doing a job you hate shouldn't be one of them. Negate the above if you have a child though, children come first because they are the carriers of our genetics.

I work at a fast food place right now myself and I'm a college student, its only temporary until I enroll in school in the fall or spring. I need to save some money for school so until then so I'll work it, a job is a job. Im 21 with a 3.5 gpa and I'll be graduating college with a B.S in either economics or finance in about 2 yrs so I don't care if I have to work at a fast food place for a couple of months
