Some of the most brilliant scientists in the last couple hundred years have been proven wrong on many theories yet we still hold them on a pedestal, and it's been done over and over again, I don't think we will ever know more than what we see, I don't care how much you think you know but no theory will ever have me convinced based on some math formula and some study.
I'm not saying that I closed my eyes and believe everything about the creation but to me it could be as much of a possibility as a big bang and evolution, both theories are hard to imagine then again if God does exist it wouldn't be that hard to him to create us. I guess I'm more comfortable with the fact that someone intended to create us as a species than us being created by mistake.

It's funny how believers feel we had to have had a creator but don't apply the same logic to the creator itself.

Scientists are wrong more than they are right because that's how the scientific method works. I mean if scientists could just have the answer pop into their heads and be right from the point of hypothesis, then there'd be no need for the scientific method.
I dunno man it's weird that people point to scientists being "wrong" all the time as though that's not just how it works. You're wrong until you carve the answer out of years and years of empirical observation, experimentation, validation of results, and then, you're right.

Do you not know that the bible was used as an instrument to impose and justify slavery upon kidnapped Africans? If not then I think the comment may be beyond you.
The point was that "both sides" of the argument have been used to promote racial superiority. But, I think the point is very apparent if you read the comment it was in response to.
