damn hate to agree with you. why do they keep pushing them as sex objects though when it is a black singer, i just want a good strong voice, too many female black rnb singers now with these higher pitched aaliyah-esque voices not doing it for meMy wife said the exact same shyt when we were having our discussion.
It's funny because I've never shared my thoughts with her on how I feel Beyonce pretty much single handedly killed black R&B music.
I'd posted my thoughts on message boards for years, but I'd never had that discussion with my wife.
She went on this tangent on how because of Beyonce, every other black female R&B artist, that were her contemporaries years ago, has to release their albums in Europe now and how the music industry basically elevated her to this undeserving status while they killed the careers of every other black R&B act.
And now we have a bunch of white girls making R&B music that they call Pop.
I was so proud listening to her rant.![]()

when i point this out. It’s by design, breh.
Strong black singers are now immediately pushed to the R&B “throwback” stations, that only older black folks listen to.
Meanwhile you got white chicks like Adele and Demi Lavoto doing their best Aretha/Mariah impressions all over pop radio, so the general public will begin to think whites girls inherently are stronger singers over time.
Sounds crazy now, but wait another decade or so.
Cacs are masters of the long con.
i feel like now you connections to get into the industry, and that is starting to be more important than talentMan, i get so Angry when i hear these White "RNB" artists YELLIN with them mormal mediocre ass voices! No soul at all! Lol
Our people got so much Real talent outchea that gets unnoticed smh

Lack of diversity since she became big. Her music is mediocre and been pushed to being black music for all R&B. Her machine with Jays blocks others from coming up. Like a Nas or fab, loved by everyone but could easily fall off with the wrong publicity. Also lacks the old school r and b feel
I know the reason for female groups... it's the money these companies don't want to invest in from marketing, clothing, hair, just to see only 300,000 in sales
in 2018 you have to market a female group in a sexual, nasty, ratchet way on some porno shyt.. opposite of the en vogues and Swv's with class
no men groups cause nikkas are all about self and nikkas not looking to split say a million dollars or even if they make that cause of 360 deals
SWV, who made the eatin' p*ssy song, and then the "I wanna fukk even tho' you got a girl" song?
That's sad about R&B, honestly. LOL at Beyoncé being the reason for the decline in R&B. Anything to make her look like the “bad guy”. *eyeroll* Her impact doesn’t have anything to do with other artists in making subpar music and being untalented. That’s on them.
If it wasn't for Kanye, that'd be the simplest shyt I heard all week. How would it be her fault? That's like people who always got somebody else as the reason why they can't do this or that, but then you ask 'em what they're doin' to make themselves successful and they can't give you an answer.Yea that makes no sense. She puts out her music and does her thing, but she ain’t putting out music every month. Why can’t during the time bey is out th spotlight can somebody come and get the love of the people?Pretty much.
That shyt about her success being the reason others can't get their shyt off, is like... so WTF should she do, aim to be less successful? If it wasn't for Kanye, that'd be the simplest shyt I heard all week. How would it be her fault? That's like people who always got somebody else as the reason why they can't do this or that, but then you ask 'em what they're doin' to make themselves successful and they can't give you an answer.
