yea, but unfortunately some people had to take bullets for that remix to be made. and eazy's death of course.

the o.g. wouldve still been huge tho. but not on the 2nd version's level at all.

but then again, i think that tha crossroads was kinda bad for their careers in the long-run. too many attempts at duplicating it, which were still successful but alienated the majority of their core audience. and when your core audience goes, it gets rocky.

I'm glad the remix helped propel them but i like the original version better too. Fit the whole album and its overall tone better.

i always thought the OG was made soon after Creepin On Ah Come Up, they still have that slightly rougher style and the beat doesn't totally fit in with the rest of E 1999 IMO. i still love it tho, i'm orety sure they had it on the Crossroads cdsingle i had back in the day
