i post a thread describing my real life experience at a Nas concert and you're reaction is "fukk you, Nas would never have a bad show." very telling of how much of a loser you are

hey, not all of us so called stans reacted that way, firstly
secondly, enough evidence has been given to show op is making this shyt up or was in the minority as far as thinking nas put on a bad show.
all the reviews/blogs say differently,
and there have been multiple reviews/posts, not just the one of the white 40 year old that op keeps on going on about!!!
and nas is human and obviously can and has done wrong before, like everyone else.
my 2 cents!!

you got 1 review from a 40 year old white woman and another review from someone who incorrectly described the set list from the show??? good sources? fukk no

I think if we can learn anything from this thread it is that Nas is not a horrible or a great live performer. If anything his performances are inconsistent.

I don't think inconsistent is the word. Cause that would mean he has literally one wack performance, one dope performance the next and if I look the past 10 years, I don't know if I would say hes a little hard to predict either . The one thing most people say is he has for the most part improved his live show a lot from the 90s to the point where since about 07 he tours a lot and is in demand. I just think he has the occasional set where he skips lines or tries something different, but if you go to a lot of rap shows, they are a LOT of rappers who do that including some other examples people posted here like Jay and Kanye and Wayne (who is actually underrated live).

I will say this though, there's a couple of things you highlighted which are more common at live shows than you think. Swapping the jesus line in Live at the BBQ hes done for a minute and that's just flipping and updating stuff, rappers do that all the time. And the skipping lines to either catch breath or let the crowd or DJ ad lib is very common too. I get that sounds a bit stannish but I would say that about a lot of rappers live cause its strange how different stuff feels in person sometimes

Its why I think people totally overexaggerated how bad Outkast's first Coachella performance was (it was actually pretty decent) and why the next sets were much tighter. Or why I think people make a big deal about a crowd "not being live" (watching a clip on youtube or tv doesn't indicate a lot)

Is he Method Man, Xzibit, KRS-One and Busta Rhymes elite live? Nope, but I can't ignore the fact hes put a string or streak of strong shows to call it just inconsistent.

Inconsistent is probably Rick Ross, who literally is off and on from what I've seen and been told.
