To my step dad and husband's defense they TRIED to teach me. Everything I learned went out the window when emergency set in.

I live in Georgia!!!! I was surprised too because I thought southerners were supposed to be more helpful and friendly!

I guess that's only true later in the day after they've had their grits and coffee.
Damn.
My dad taught me how to change a tire once. Of course when the time came for me to change my tire I didn't have what I needed to change the tire.

Anyway if I saw you, I would have stopped and tried to offer assistance. :manny:

In a time where people are being murdered at a crazy pace and there are various tv channels dedicated to shows about serial killers and horrific murders u expect someone to place their lives in danger with a damm stranger

they don't know it u really need help
Or if u got dude hiding in the car to jack the dummy who pulls over

U might as well expect someone to pick up hitchhikers too

Ya father lost for not teaching u to change a tire too

Sitting on the hood of my car on the side of the highway at 7:30 am in 30 degree weather.

I work about 30 minutes from where I live and during my commute this morning my tire blew. I pulled over and put on my flashers hoping someone (preferably someone who knew how to put on a spare) pulled over to help....30 minutes later... No one.

So then I thought, "Hey...maybe they can't see me" so I proceeded to put on my coat and get out and sit on my car.... No one stopped.

I counted 4 different police cars that passed by and even they didn't stop. It sucks because my husband is the type that if he sees a car stranded he stops to help because he says that if it were me he'd hope that someone would help......

People suck! :mjcry:
Im that type that would stop but in 30 deg weather ...:francis:

OP is a femme?

Yes.

I appreciate that. My dad and husband both taught me but on the low I didn't pay good enough attention.

So you can't Google how to change a tire real quick :usure:

Somehow I think that during the actual event of changing a tire it would be kind of hard to hold my phone and the tire at the same time.

Yeah I doubt too many people are being mugged and murdered during the morning rush hour on one of the busiest highways in the city.
