Its a blessing to have family that can take you back to the foundation of the struggle.. And talk to them and hear their voices and see them..
My people's was 15 miles away from whrere Emmit Till was killed.. They tell me the story like it happened yesterday.

A lot of brothers, scattered throughout the North, South and West - her oldest sister has been one of my closest elder family members for decades, grew up down the street from her, walked by her house after school, would be there during the summer, etc.RIP.
