I'm actually giving TRUE Black Women Praise

Only the dumb ones feel OFFENDED

Real Talk

I dislike weave as much as the next man, in fact HATE it. This statement here however, get the shyt outta here about "true" black women.

That shyt irritates me. Just because a woman wears a basket weave on her head doesn't mean she isn't still a sista, and may be a very good

one at that. Stop with this separatist shyt.

Also, I saw it mentioned, but enough about this white supremacy = weave shyt. Nowadays I see women who don't naturally have long hair

still like to play with unique hairstyles and "whip their hair". That has nothing to do with white supremacy and everything to do with finding a solution (weave)

to a issue (hair that doesn't grow as long, and if it does, it is usually kinkier.) At some point we gotta take responsibility for this shyt. They just doing them.
Even if it looks bad, they are expressing themselves, and how we feel about it doesn't matter. I started wearing polos

and khakis, not because of white supremacy, but because urban wear is corny to me. Stop skirting peoples responsibility, they know what they are doing.

I don't think Black Women are the ones who need to be encouraged to embrace their features,I think you should encourage black men to.
I want to agree, but the truth is, both need to. It is absolutely true that a lot of prominent sistas adopt eurocentric ideals, so for little girls growing up, they

may lack role models that makes them feel ok about themselves. They may get frustrated with certain features they have, and all it takes is one comment

from a non-black girl about her hair to negatively fukk her perception up.

Men also have to stop making it worse by perpetuating the eurocentric ideals by disparaging their sisters details and fiending for the white woman's details.

I am good with everyone appreciating all races looks and quirks, but we ALL do this to ourselves. An all black, lower income neighborhood is gonna be filled

with:

-Salons
-Weave boutiques
-Restaurants serving unhealthy food
-liquor stores

At a certain point, we are doing this to ourselves. Everybody needs a reality check as far as this thing goes, so we can respect each other better and do better.

No, this is simplifying the shyt. People who hate themselves will openly say "I hate myself."

Everybody has a right to say "Damn, this feature is inconvenient for X reason" it doesn't mean self hate.

Fam, I fukking HATED getting haircuts for the longest because even if I picked my hair out, clippers would hang and pull

at my shyt. I never wear a fro because I hate the upkeep. Am I self hating? We gotta give sistas more credit, even if like me, you dislike

the weave. If a black woman wants to rock a pony tail and she can't do that shyt with 3 inches of hair, why shouldn't she be able

to cop a weave and get that feeling? We may not like it, but we have to understand where they are coming from. Self-hate

is a fake "cure-all" net to cast at black folks for doing shyt you don't agree with, and im tired of black people throwing other black people

under the bus with such terms like c00n and self-hate. These words say a lot about someone, and most of the time, it is unwarranted

to say shyt like that just because you don't like it.

I hate when girls say their hair is natural when they're not wearing a weave, but its still straightened.
"But its my hair, you're being too difficult :why:"
Nah, its not natural unless its the way/texture it grows out your head. Straightened hair is only a small step above weaves to me. I wish they'd appreciate their natural hair like I do :to:
