I hate when girls say their hair is natural when they're not wearing a weave, but its still straightened.
"But its my hair, you're being too difficult :why:"
Nah, its not natural unless its the way/texture it grows out your head. Straightened hair is only a small step above weaves to me. I wish they'd appreciate their natural hair like I do :to:
:what:Are you talking chemically straightened, or heat pressed and natural oils also fit in that category?

:patrice:Well they do look ridiculous, but im just feeling like even straightened hair, not including weird chemicals, relaxers, etc,
aren't on the same plane as wearing weave. Unless they look like this, then:scust:

But straightened hair essentially looks the same as a weave, minus the weird lumps on their head from where the hair is tucked.

How about black women who have natural hair, but flat iron it?
People always neglect that hair style in these convos. They also would assume a black woman with medium length or long hair that's straightened is wearing extensions or a lacefront.

This is what im saying. My 3 sisters, if they put up with 3-4 months worth of braids, when the shyt comes out, they have enough hair to brush. Another few more
months, weave-look if pressed, without the corny "volume" that weaves give, and they have edges.

I didnt even mind weaves or a perm back in the day. But nowadays its gotten extra extravagant with the curls and like 4 packs of hair with a texture that looks completely unnatural.

Regular chicks cant afford the high quality hair so they end up with this crunchy, frizzy looking hairhat that is actually quite repulsive:yeshrug:

For me its either.

1. Perm no weave
2. Natural :ahh:
3. Braids/twists with extra hair i dont really care, just get the Poetic Justice look proper:takedat:

But for any hairstyle that require tracks or lacefront:gag:

Nothing more beautiful than a black woman with her natural aura. I don't fault anybody for what they want to do to their hair though. Do what works for you.

I like the idea of giving out compliments to the women with natural hair. If only my girl wasn't so damn noid.
