bytch either tell your boss to pay you the minimum wage or STFU and go work at McDonalds. Guaranteed 7.25 an hour.

Should I tip :dame: the UPS delivery person too?

This tip shyt getting out of hand. Can’t even go grab a coffee without them putting a tip jar in your face or putting up on the contactless pay screen. Bruh all you did want hand me a donut and pour some coffee? You did less work than a damn cook at Burger King and they ain’t getting a tip. Kick rocks.

Bruh! This place i go to....they take orders with ipads...and only take card since covid n they ask

"Leave a tip? "

NOOOOOO!!!

Lockdowns didn’t start
But people did have some concerns
On eating out
Then factor in what shifts she worked
Where they opening/mid/nightly
Was she giving good service or just bullshytting:patrice:

That woman is an idiot. The more in tips you make, the more the $2.13 an hour (or whatever tipped minimum is by state) is taxed. You could make 5k in a pay period and your paycheck would look like that.

If she was really getting bad tips she would have gotten minimum wage make-up. Not alot because minimum wage is bad, but it would be more than $9.28

This stuff is the reason why I am glad I am no longer in the restaurant industry and rarely do dine-in because you get stereotyped right off the bat.

Well..

She may need to get on the county to subsidize her income. *shrugs*

Next, she finna get a Rona check soon, right?

BTW, if she is a mom, does she get child support? If not, why not?

I personally tip the standard 20%, but I also believe that tips should be at the discretion of the customer. When she took the job, she knew that she wouldn't be given a high wage.

Lastly, she is a grown ass adult. She made her choice to be in her position, so instead of telling folks what they should do, she need to take ownership of her own situation and get whatever training or education necessary in order to sustain herself and her dependant(s).

This this legally guaranteed? How would you be able to prove to your employer that you aren’t being tipped?

Seems like BS, that’s a flat rate regardless of if you’re getting tipped or not. There’s no worker protections for that

The cheapest franchised fast food restaurant or convenience store pays more than that....she's either lying/not telling the whole story or an absolute sucker

I never understood how we as a society are just ok with the restaurant industry getting away with barely paying their workers, and pushing it onto the customers. I still always tip since me not tipping isn't going to change the system, but still.
