I think the militant religious peeps out number militant atheists by far. I can honestly say I never had anybody try make me believe there was no god. If I had a nickel every time somebody tried to preach to me or offer me to go to church I'd be rich just like these cock sucking thieving preachers.
I knew I didn't believe in GOD or religion at age around 7. shyt never made sense. I remember my mom getting so pissed at me because I equated it to Santa Claus with that naughty and nice shyt.

true, although most peeps I know are somewhat minorly religious or believe in something. Most of my people/family are African / or Caribbeans though maybe thats why.,religion kinda blends into culture. Im sure peeps maybe are ambivolous to it but just do it anyway.

this. i ended up ''waking up'' during my high school years, i felt that why am i praying to some white guy who probably don't answer our prayers. right now i don't believe in religion, i believe there is a god or a creator but that god or creator definitely isn't Jesus or Allah. i feel blessed regardless, i have my own relationship with god. Pac had a good interview that relates to this topic.

No but to me it represents the old guard and alot of new black men realize we ain't shyt without intangibles (aka money) what my father can do I cannot. He got hoes with nothing and got them to take care of him, I can't do that women have changed in terms of how they think and some black men realize the changing off the guard.
To me it's just a idealogy without any real things to make men into men, raising people off love, emotions and feelings isn't what black men need, we need focus and drive and purpose. I don't hate it but I wish my mother was never deeply o involved in it.
I think it's just not needed and surely doesn't adjust to todays world. Men need to be men and make women respect them, what my dad can do I simply cannot these days.
Most black people I know even if they don't go to church or moswue St least believe in God
