I went to church all the time as a kid. Everyone in my family is religious but I never felt a connection to it. When I was a kid and people would bow their head and pray I always felt like they were pretending. As I got older I just began to not give a fukk about it. I dont have anything against religion or religious people tho. To this day my mom and dad still tell me to pray for this, pray for that, this happened because you are blessed, etc etc and im just like riiiight. Sometimes this shyt feels like some huge inside joke to me

Why does your partner have to be a believer in order for you to genuinely love them? you basing a chance at love on a religion? exactly what type of foundation will being a "believer" bring to a relationship? what happens in the event the relationship crumbles? if this is another attempt at sarcasm then please stop. Same story here. I used to watch people "catch the holy ghost" in church but I never felt a thing. I was like when does football start?

It still took until my late teens before I realized it was all a bunch of bullshyt.
