I do not think most women would have an issue with splitting the bills, but the issue is the fact that a woman is still expected to handle most of the domestics, and that includes childcare. Having to work fulltime and still do the same duties as a stay at home wife is what puts most women off. At least if a man is capable of providing, she can take time off working fulltime.

On the flip side, to quote Bill Burr--when there is a bump in the night or the ship starts going down we gotta lay down the ultimate price lol
But realistically, men can cook and do menial chores in 2025. Just like a woman can cut the grass
