Every merchant pays a credit fee no matter the transaction. That's why it's a minimum purchase limit in some places or some gas stations charge cheaper if you pay cash. And I'm sure your uncle had signs or warnings of the extra fee. If not, it's included in the price. There's always customers that use scare tactics to get their way. Those get less respect than those that work with you. Claiming they work for this or shop at that. I can understand your cousins fright. Just gotta brush her off cuz there'll be more like her. I pay everything with my credit card because it builds points and you get better protection if purchased with a card, like you get an additional year warranty on all products regardless of the warranty policy of the store.

In any business where you deal with customers, they will feel like they're always right and some will waste your time just to feel like they're right. The best thing to do is to be calm, and if you don't know how to handle the situation, I would just say, my manager is not here right now so I can't help you so I wouldn't waste my time since it would be of no help.

I've dealt with so many a$$holes through my family business. And a lot of people look down on you because you have a customer service job to begin with. But the thing I love most is sonning the shyt out of people
