you keep saying the same thing without even realizing it. you prefer an open world you can explore. brehette, thats a fukking adventure game by definition. im saying, mario is a platformer, its based on platforming. theres a whole genre out there of games that fit the exact description you are asking for, they are adventure games. basically, you want a mario adventure game. i dont know why you disagreeing with me.

I prefer having a world like sunshine and 64, to the random floating shapes.

What I meant by traveling is basically having a 3d world map akin to Mario bro. 3/world. Maybe have it like the old school rpgs with the world maps and small representation of towns and forest and shyt, but those would be levels instead

I think the problem was not enough variety, most the levels had the same look and feel.

Cleaning that slime got old fast also.


The jetpack game play was genius tho and I feel like it could have made for way more creative game play than they put in

I was on the not interested in Mario train up until I played 3D World. Had me like !!! I liked Sunshine back when it came out but never beat it. Had a Wii but never played one of the Galaxy games.
