I quit weed and ciggs two days ago, anyone else quit before?

Stay away from triggers

aka bars and things like that.

Avoid liquor and beer if you use to smoke and drink.


And remember you'll consistently get strong urges the 1st or so month.

I still struggle with cigs but I quit weed and drinking a years ago and I used to go hard on both so trust me I know what I'm talkin about...

Like a lot of guys in here said once I stopped getting fukked up I got super serious about working out. One reason was it was another way to "stay busy" early on and also if you're a true addict like me its like swapping out one addiction for Another, but a healthy addiction. And the results ...let's just say questions like "Do you model?".. and .."Were you locked up because damn you done got swoll"... aren't so surprising anymore



One of the biggest hurdles nikkaz have to overcome in regards to quitting weed and alcohol (among other dope) is how its tied to their sexuality or sexual addiction. A lot of mfs have trouble quitting because we're under the highly false assumption that we "fukk better when we high".. Trust me on this.. This is the dumbest shyt we tell ourselves...


And don't even get me started on what the bank account start looking like when you quit the poisons...

Funny thing is i really only smoke in my car and I am in the car a lot for work. That's why I been chewing the gum and I got those small dum dum lolli pops.

I'm on Day 10 after smoking weed daily for 4 years straight. Wife still smoke so I'm missing the bonding but I'm after something bigger right now. I've started like 6 different businesses in 2017 and just couldn't stick with any of them. Also, weed brought about some dark energy at times. I don't miss that or the fogginess I felt most of the time. I want to be a man that built something in his time here on earth not just one that followed the path that others created. So yeah, I think I'm really done this time.

I quit cigs. Used snus as an alternative. No lie, one day I woke up and simply didn't have the cravings anymore. People look down on the gum but listen.....i truly believe the snus, since it supplied a much higher dose of nicotine, led to me not having cravings any longer. I think it blew my nicotine craving circuits. Sounds silly, I know, but it's the only thing I can come up with. The patches and the gum work the same way, or at least I feel they do in theory. I don't recommend snus. Use the gum or the patch. More than anything you're out to break routine. Break up the routine and it gets easier. just sit back and think. A large part of addiction is routine. Never got into weed to the point I had to have it, although I had some damn good times with it.

Good for you. I've been in process of eliminating my worst vice. Temptation is there but have been going strong for nearly 3 months. Had a 2 week hiccup in the middle.

It's time to move beyond, there are far greater things in life. My focus and energy are already so much improved.

someones needs to make a group therapy thread for rehabers on the coli for 2018, i plan to quit smjoking green till around mid-week february hopefully longer because i need to save up for an investment. i would like to also quit smoking cigs but i cant quit both at the same time and smoking cigs is like 300.00 a month with the new price hike, weed was 480.00 a month thats almost 800 a month on smoking.

quiting weed is easier when you got a nesccesity, so for first couple months of 2018 i will be a sober cobra, i already cant wait till around mid week feb when i can go in again

i got a lot of typing to do january and saving that extra cash is the incentive to be sober, i can do it. just need to cut out things like hiphop, socializing and go to my samurai status which is fine. cigs cost as much as weed now too, so im going to find a way to cut way down.
