When all things considered, ball players really aren't sprinters though with a few exceptions. Plus LBJ is fast for his size. A dude 6-8 250 lb guy trucking 4.6 and to not be a professionally trained runner like a football player or a track runner is pretty impressive.
MJ is quicker but Lebron is definitely faster when he builds up momentum with his long strides. I think Lebron is faster than Jordan in a race over 20yards that negates his slow starts.
Do you know how short 20 yards is? If Lebron beats MJ in a 20 yd race, he's quicker.
I think you misread what I wrote or I wasn't clear enough. I said Leborn would beat Jordan in a race thats more than 20yards so he could make up the slow start he's going to have because he out weighs Jordan by 50pounds
