I feel you in regards to Sony's worldwide branding and that will be hard for microsoft to take down Playstation is practically a super power in that aspect. The fact microsoft going to play anywhere let's me know they got one foot in the console business and one foot out and there building a safety nest for there exit. But a complete Sony domination is not good and guaranteed for some type of fukkery to happen. I don't think switch will even come close to competing with the ps4 worldwide and this is nintendo's make or break moment.

This seems like the nice/smart thing to say but the PS1/PS2 era of gaming was amazing.

Microsoft could have avoided all of this if they just coasted last gen without introducing Kinect.

They did coast the 2nd half of last gen. Remember all those dope exclusives 360 got from 2006-2009? They all went either multiplat,Playstation exclusive,fell off or stop being made entirely. Meanwhile PS3 hit its stride and cash in that good will for PS4.

Yea, honestly I got the Xbox One for it's media functionality (DLNA, Youtube, Internet Browser, Cable TV, etc.), but they fukked up this generation. It's crazy because I've been a Playstation gamer since the PS1, but Sony was bs'n on the media front at the beginning. I knew ever since the Kinect fiasco that Sony would blow them out of the water though.

I was riding with ps4 at first, but xbox one always had the better online. Ps4 has garbage servers and gl with saving your info, because they getting hacked all the time.

This shyt had me laughing for a good 10 mins straight.

Platinum Games saw how the X1 was doing and was like... "Nahhh, we're gonna let Nier Automata handle this one... " and drafted themselves to the other team.

I don't know why they aren't snagging good Xbox Exclusives though, they should be getting at least something. E3 might have something ready, but if they're about to send the Scorpio out to sea with no strong winds in sight...

The only time console war shyt was funny to me was when FFXIII was announced for the 360. The fukking internet had my dying. That shyt crashed ***** and everything.

I still think FFXIII lowkey turned out the way it did because of it going on the 360. That game could've handled cities no problem on the PS3, it was a multi-disc release on the 360. And the craziest part is that Microsoft doesn't even do all that well in Japan anyway.

That being said though, that fateful day when they made that announcement? You would've thought Square Enix sold itself for a dollar with the way some people were behaving.
