I Really don't understand how Travis Scott can sell 100k first week & Thug can't

1) Signed to GOOD music
2) Kanye-like personality that strikes the nerve of people, both good and bad
3) Makes tangible music that actually strikes a chord with people to listen to, and not just aimlessly streaming it while they're vacuuming.
4) The momentum from those first 3 allowed him to put a properly finished project out for legit retail, and not a delayed mixtape rushed out for sale to capitalize on fake buzz.

Travis speaks to a different audience and has a unique sound. I prefer thugger but at the end of the day he makes generic trap music that sounds like everybody else coming out of atlanta.
:mjlol: A lot of artist have called Travis out for biting. He recreates whatever's hot. Thug is more unique & he took Wayne's style and ran with it. Personally I think it's because white people gravitate more towards Travis music vs trap music like thugs.
