There's mayhem on my twitter timeline for Travis music premiering now. The people passionate about his music and rightly so
He's a special talent.
He's a special talent.
He's a special talent.45-55k first week seems to be his ceiling.Wait for the OG album, I think he can push numbers towards 70-100
Who has ever sold more records for doing shyt like that.
Specially a dude who is also trying not to cater to birdbrains who still hate homos
I'm guessing his album cover scared a lot of people off.

That's easy.
Young Thug will never be bigger than what he is because he is a "hood" mixtape artist. Yes hype beasts love him too but he really hasn't been regularly exposed to more like Travis Had.
Travis Scott
True industry plant. Before Owls Pharaoh dropped he was performing songs at major festivals. His hype and exposure was multiplied when Yay signed him on as producer. Because of his Good music and Roc nation affiliation it has opened more doors and has given him more exposure. His fan base is more diverse. Eventhough he is signed to grand hustle as a rapper that Ye and Jay cosign has done wonders.
Youtube their shows and you would see the difference in their fan bases. Thug has more of a hood and female base while Travis has more of a hypbeast white kid fan bases. So you decide who will purchase more music? That's answer.
its 2016 tho. Who fukks with the radio? If it's hard to understand, it's obvious that you don't listen to enough radio to have an opinion. I heard "Antidote" almost every time I flipped from sports talk radio to any hip-hop station out here.

Young thug is borderline incoherent in songs and doesn't take time to polish them. Most people don't want to hear mumbly incoherent rappers, which is why rap isn't as mainstream as it used to be
Oh the irony of a ton of COLI A&Rs who rally around the 'fukk the label' mantra and the 'SHOULD JUST GO INDEPENDENT' tag line wondering why an artist who was developed by a major label is doing better than a guy who did not.

its 2016 tho. Who fukks with the radio?
I havent since 2005.
(i get what u sayin tho)
No way in hell. The only big rapper right now is Drake, and his music isn't anywhere as popular as the hip hop stars of the early 00s were.nah, it's actually more mainstream than before but the way it's consumed is different

Today's hip hop only appeals to about a 14-23 year old age group.
