I can't stand them memes supposedly saying some "real shyt", like

Lately I been just been ducked off and getting to the money #RealTalk

If it's so "real" then why the fukk am I looking at a pic of Lil Yachty instead of you? :martin: Somehow a pic of a rapper looking introspective makes it "realer" like they actually said it :what:

Instead of saying rich vs poor; it should have been titled rich vs wealthy. Poor people not even checking for this conversation. They concentrating on making it to the next day. Rich people with new money like to spend and be flashy. Wealthy people who come from generations of money are low key with their spending. They drop money on experiences, things that maximize their time, and ways to make their money grow for the next generation

I’ll never forget as a kid going into a shopping mall with my pops and seeing his stop for a second and chop it up with this white mans wearing some khaki shorts and a beat up baseball cap. He told me as soon as dude walked away “that man is a doctor”

Completely changed the way I looked at wealth

And those Khaki shorts probably cost $100 plus. Dressing plane doesn't equal dressing cheap. Someone is keeping those stores like Brooks brothers, anthropolgie, ann taylor in the like in business.

This meme is implying poor people keep luxury brands alive which is retarded and just another way to try to shyt on blacc ppl
Black people arent the only ones who buy luxury brands :gucci: hell I wouldnt even say they're close to the majority who do. I see way more whites and asians with luxury shyt. and more often than not, that meme features white people. This is my first time ever seeing that meme with black people depicted

Yeah the idea that blacks are funding luxury fashion is a myth. In London the amount of Asian & European tourists you see draped in Gucci, LV, Fendi etc. is ridiculous

This may be a London thing but I don’t see too many brothers wearing designer things at all.

Nah he's 100% right. That meme is just pointing out the spending habits and mindset of the rich/poor. The poor place value in the material because its is not easily obtainable to them and allows them to impress other poor/middle-class people. Meanwhile, the rich dont care because they dont place the same value in it. A Gucci belt is not as valuable to a rich person than it is to a poor person.

100% false.

Jesus breh yall just say whatever. Rich ppl care about impressing their peers way more than.poor ppl.

Yall never been around momey if you think rich ppl dont floss their wealth. Yall confusing upper middle class with rich.

That's not what I said. I said poor people care more about impressing "poor/mid-class" people. And the types of products such as Gucci belts do tend to impress them. But a whole different class of items impress rich people. Stuff like vehicles, property, stocks, etc. So when I see that meme, I think about that idea that rich people arent neccesarily gonna be lined up to buy brands and jewelry that would impress the poor/middle-class cause they more concerned with impressed their own rich peers.
