Lupe could do it and HAS done it. His songs were great not only because of content, but cause he made it sound INCREDIBLE.

you asking immortal technique to be the guy who created the u2 big budget ripoff record like lupe.
plus, lupe has the same lack of permeation and lack of fan support in the common nikka realm as IT.
on top, of the fact lupe has a jayz cosign.

IT, may fit to many words per syllable a bar, and has clarity issues.
yet, he makes actual sense bar to bar content wise.
when, it is on the bigger issue.
the problem with IT, is just technical issues.
pretty much most rappers have, at this current point, and period in time.
so, it just falls into your personal preference.
including, what type of content you can bear listening wise.

the mainstream rappers are generally not cultural.
including lupe,....

IT, is one of thee cultural artist who delivers content.
he is the documentary to others guys action movies as lone ranger would say.

on top of the fact, IT is a great guy.
plus, one of my only contemporaries to personally find me in a venue and gave me props.

so, even as a social guy in the culture.
full of weak ass toys, playing dress up or using cosigns.
a real bboy like IT is needed.

now, does he have clarity issues, and technical issues.
yeah,..yet any other rapper you cite probably has the same issues.
or, don't attempt to have any content.
while actually biting their technical skills.
instead of actually building their own core skills as IT has.

lupe is pretty much.
what if someone bit nas, twista/snypaz, and jayz.
then, made I used to love her as the point of all his rhymes.
,..yet, culturally lupe is a huge toy.
who, will diss the culture and its pioneers.
who actually paved the way for him to draw, conceptually/artistically.
in favor of artist who don't and have never paved the way for lupe to draw.

that a guy like IT, would never, ever do.

so, you have to look at IT, culturally as a figure first.
whereas, the other guys are toys and have to make and purposefully bite trends.
actual full skillsets or other taboo types of music to get known.

IT, got known the real way.
taking heads, and creating content and being true.
as a cultural rep,..that is more commendable than the general guy.

I respect the dude. He's not technically the most skilled, and a lot of times his production is lacking but I simply cant deny that the dude is REAL as fukk and actually practices what he preaches.

His stans are another story, but Ill never get the resentment people have against him. Theres so many trashy run-of-the-mill artists who look the same, rap the same and say the exact same shyt while getting a pass. IT is pretentious as hell, and not a great rapper, but fukk, I'm happy he's around just for the sake of it
