I think what's causing this issue is that society lied to them.
Imagine everyone is telling you, "You just need to be funny and confident and you can get the girl of your dreams!"
Then here comes some guy who neither of those qualities and your dream girl throws herself at him just because of his looks.
And then you get told to lower your standards which implies that looks matter even though society told you they DON'T.
Combine that with a little mental illness sprinkled in and this is what you get.
If you want to fix the "incel" problem, we need to start being HONEST about dating and what women actually want.
Half of them look like this

But they want a supermodel![]()
YikesI have a theory that TV Sitcoms with average / fat husbands and attractive wives have something to do with this

Don’t click on any video if you don’t want your algorithms fukked up.
Ehhhhhhh"Society" isn't telling men "be funny and confident and you can get the girl of your dreams" though
That's bad romantic comedy movies and PUAs.
Normal people seem to be handling the vagaries of dating well, its just extra-sensitive men that can't pick up on social cues with no experience that seem to have this problem![]()

I always thought the archetype was Hollywood selling a dream to average looking men
It's funny how in these sitcoms that this average looking guy has a chance to cheat on his attractive wife with another attractive womanYes. Also in every one of these episodes, the husband meets the “EX” and the EX is usually the guy she REALLY likes or lust over.
“Charismatic & funny goes a long way for the relationship type of guy. The lust guy doesn’t have to be all that.
Women have been saying this for years but get called “feminazi” online for the critique.I always thought the archetype was Hollywood selling a dream to average looking men
