cuz hes not from new york and none of his albums had a huge impact...His discography is strong on paper, but no one ever says "Common is in my top 5" or "top X"
Never knew why is it like that

This is true... Chicago is well represented in the top 10 rappers. LWFC is one of my personal alltime favorites
Common's discography is up there with Ghostface's and Nas' discography IMO. Dude has what, 3 or 4 classics?
Be and Finding Forever are one of the best back to back releases in history. And I like UMC a lot.
It's a good album. 6th sense is a classic. It was a let down to me after one day though. Same with Finding Forever. I always looked at that record as the half assed follow up to Be. FF is still a great record though. Probably a 4 as well. I've given LWFC numerous tries too.I was discussing LWFC with my brother over the weekend, he said he wasn't feeling it either. You might have to take a listen to that again. Thelonious, The Light, 6th Sense, Nag Champa, the Question, it's a ton of great songs on that album. I don't think Kanye gets enough credit for saving his career though, Be & Finding Forever are classics, they stand the test of time.
Juvenile Hell to Infamous.ill say this..can i borrow a dollar to resurrection is prolly one of the best examples of rapper improving greatly from one album to another
the sped up delivery on the album version and the different beat were cool but wasn't fukking with this
