Fab is cool he can be top 10 or 20 as well. I need another few albums from him.
Fab is the poor man’s version of Ma$e and Jay-Z combined
This right here.
Clue had him on the first album, back when he was "Fabolous Sport", and they played "If They Want It" on the radio and the people were calling in saying he sounded like a "wack Mase". HAHA! He would just take people's styles and cadence and try to make it his own. He's always been like that. When the south started popping, he tried to run with what they were doing too. But dude is snoozefest of a rapper. Not wack, but just there and wild generic.
When his first album dropped I remember he was heavily hated online because he was like the most generic New York rapper imaginable. Album had the clearance bin Neptunes and Timbaland beats actually from them, then a bunch of weak imitations.
He has some nice bars here and there and is tolerable, but never met anyone in person that gave him much thought either way. Must be a tri-state thing![]()
Roc-A-Fella spent millions trying to craft and buy hits for them artists and Nas weed carriers ended up having a bigger hit than any of em. Don't hold any weight for me but it is comedy.

Yeah, I remember Clue saying that the Neptunes and Timbaland were raping Fab's budget on the first album. Charging like $150K and $200K a beat back then. HAHA! But they were giving dude tracks that sounded like throwaways. Even his album reviews said he sounded like a clone of Jay and Mase.
When he dropped, the ads for his album had the producer names more prominently than his! That was when they were trying to promote based on production, more than who the rapper was, lol. I've just never been able to f*ck with dude's music like that. I tried though. For years!
