he Won a Grammy against

d smoke ( took me like 5 years after to know him)
gibbs
benny

that was quite literally the weakest category in the history of awards lol

and yes fab has more plaques than Nas the last 20 years

and with your list. Dude had like 7 albums in a 5 year stretch recently and you all did was talk about shyt 25 years ago lol
Fab doesn’t even get an invite to the Grammy’s.

& no I consider kd3 & magic recent albums classic.

Bro your throat is a black hole for fabulous.

I ain’t gon lie I thought Fab was coming for the crown around 04 when breathe dropped.

He had a nice lil resurgence with the young OG tapes but nothing like I thought he’d be.

Imma keep it a stack , I was born in 96 and Fab been that nicca in rap for as long as I can remember from as a kid with hits like “I’m so into you” ,”holla back youngin” “breathe” “throw it in the bag” bro had a hit damn near every year in the 2000s and I didn’t even mention his features , to being in high school during that there’s no competition/soul tape mixtape run … as far as Nas before going back and doing my homework as a teen listening to Illmatic & It was written I only knew dude for Oochie Wally & I Can :manny: .. as someone who has Nas in his top 5 a lot of his stans don’t live in reality and don’t want to accept after 01/02 ish he wasn’t really a factor anymore among the youth

I can say the same thing with Ja rule. That don't make him a better rapper. Fabulous was nice but he was never the best rapper of any year in the 2000's so case close

Oh and who's the top hat... poster in this thread? You guessed it :scust:

Lol Fab is no NY legend. In basketball terminology he'd be a decent starter who's had a long career and played for some good teams. Maybe even been an all star couple times. Like his debut studio album was actually great. But that's it.

Imagine you were asked to come up with greatest NY rap songs compilation. You'd be going for songs like The Message, Flava in ya year remix, Shook ones, NY state of mind, etc. Ain't no God damn way any Fabolous song are fukking with the greatest NY tracks.

I’d say local legend for sure, he’s a mixtape legend and has his moments. Has co-signs from Jay and has songs with him.
