Not necessarily the PlayStation brand just yet, but Sony as a whole. This whole PS4 Pro reveal just goes to show you how misguided this company really is. I noticed it years ago with their Televisions and portable players/phones and now it is surfacing yet again, but with their most important brand...the PlayStation. It is literally the only thing keeping this company from sinking and they are pissing off their great customer base in several ways the past few days.

PS4 Pro - An unnecessarily rushed product when they were still shytting on Microsoft. They won't be able to respond in 12 months with yet another console as it can potentially annoy the early adopters of PS4 Pro. A PS4 Slim + overclocked GPU + CPU along with a 4K UHD player at $299 would have put them right in the same position as they were before Microsoft started winning the last 2 months in the NPD.

$10 increase on PSN and then subsequently go down a few times since then do to simple DDOS attacks.

Not allowing Mods on Fallout and Skyrim.

With that said it is good to see things getting somewhat interesting. Microsoft still has a lot of ground to cover, but showing signs of life.

Still not cancelling my PS4 Pro or PSVR pre-orders :manny:

I agree. The backlash from tech blogs on the PS4Pro is pretty substantial.

Consumers aren't really brand friendly. Like everybody was on the 360 last gen, but most moved to the PS4 this gen. The exact same thing could happen with the Scorpio. If the Scorpio has better graphics and is reasonably priced, Sony should worry. They're already probably worried.

Come this time next year, it's M$'s battle to be lost. The Scorpio could really put them back in the forefront.

not cancelling my PSVR or PS4Pro orders either

There is absolutely nothing going on with Sony or the Playstation. Just stan delusions and trolls trying to tarnish Sony's brand. they've come up from $599 PS3, PSN Hack etc. This is a just a vocal minority. Come November, the competition is getting smashed and the name "Xbox" will be synonymous with Phillips or Samsung as in it's just another bluray player.

When the big guns drops next year(God of War, Horizon, Spiderman etc.), who's going to even remotely give a rat's ass about some damn Scorpio?? The fukk is this? Astrology? :mjlol:

Sony will be alright even with the ps4 pro it's still reasonably priced so people will cop. The mods shyt for fallout I think most people play Bethesda games on either Xbox or pc since it's always a shyt show when they realease them on Sony consoles. You lost for buying a Bethesda game on a Sony platform. Only way Scorpio stands a chance is if Xbox Scorpio comes at 399 which we all know that ain't happening due to the power it will have. OP is over reacting Sony still got this.

You Dont know what the fukk you're talking about Liquid. You're a PC nerd. It's a premium product that is projected to sell 2 million in the next 6 months at a profit. It's not Sony putting the barn on a console. It's a great decision. Stock was 10 Dollars in 2012 and is now 30 dollars.
