I'm not light skinnedseems like what's considered "light skinned" has gotten progressively lighter over the years. I know dudes the same color as Nelly talmbout they're not light skinned.

this is trueOnly about 58% have white ancestry.
And have you looked at pictures of modern-day Nigeria? THey are a spitting image of African Americans. And these are pure Africans who range from light to dark.
The average African American doesn't look like that man. We brown. If our ancestors looked like that, we would be looking white as hell after mixing for 300 years. Why is it hard for you to admit our slave ancestors were Dark? That's the only logical explanation for you to still retain your brown skin despite all this admixture.
Brazilians, Dominicans received the most. African Americans somewhere in the middle.
Haitians, Jamaicans...alot less. The only logical explanation for why they stayed so dark is because thats how we all looked originally.
or maybe its cause haitians and jamaicans are right on the equator and still livin in countries that are hot as hell and get as much sun as africa. while here in america we got people living higher up in colder climates that get less sun.
you ever head down to Jamaica or Barbados for vacations and come back 3 weeks later like 2 skin shades darker. that shyt happened to me many times. have me going from light skin to dark skin in a matter of weeks.

i live in the caribbean now but im from chicago..lived in new york and jersey for 5 years and can personally attest to the last part...goddamn my people call me "white" when i come back to the islands after being away for while....or maybe its cause haitians and jamaicans are right on the equator and still livin in countries that are hot as hell and get as much sun as africa. while here in america we got people living higher up in colder climates that get less sun.
