Housas, Fulanis and some Igbos look like African American. Also there are alot of Rwandans who look like New Worlders.

But as far as African Americans go, the lightskin ones are a product of mix racing. It was the Housas and Fulanis doing alot of the capturing and selling them to the cacs.

The average African American doesn't look like that man. We brown. If our ancestors looked like that, we would be looking white as hell after mixing for 300 years. Why is it hard for you to admit our slave ancestors were Dark? That's the only logical explanation for you to still retain your brown skin despite all this admixture.

Brazilians, Dominicans received the most. African Americans somewhere in the middle.

Haitians, Jamaicans...alot less. The only logical explanation for why they stayed so dark is because thats how we all looked originally.

i live in the caribbean now but im from chicago..lived in new york and jersey for 5 years and can personally attest to the last part...goddamn my people call me "white" when i come back to the islands after being away for while....
