Demar has not shown the ability to shoot 3s though

Should be able to do it more next year when he doesn't have to be the primary playmaker if/when Murray is back to full strength as the PG and the hopeful emergence of Lonnie Walker. Only time will tell but he did at least ATTEMPT 4 a game last year

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven

This is irrefutable proof I was RIGHT. He was left behind, and now he realizes he's got to catch up and adapt to current state of the league. How the fukk are you going to spin this into believing he wasn't left behind? What is wrong with your brain?
Because if DeMar was KD, he wouldn't need to wait until the offseason to say "take more threes"

what he's saying is, he will have to discuss it with him, because he needs to actually learn how to shoot them better... "shoot more 3's" could have been said in half a second... the problem is, like we been telling you, pop ain't about to tell these bums to shoot more, cause he don't trust them

Asking two non 3pt shooting players to shoot more 3s means he was being left behind? :dahell:
Nobody is a 3-pt shooter until, you know, they actually shoot 3s: nobody knows how to shoot the ball, until they shoot it. And stop with this nonsense like DeRozan and LMA are incapable of shooting the ball, they've been two of the most prolific midrange players for years now - they know how to shoot.

If the 3-pt line didn't exist, would LMA and DeRozan be known as shooters?
Demar has not shown the ability to shoot 3s though
And he's not shown the ability to shoot long 2s?

DeRozan is unlikely to become a lights-out shooter from behind the arc at this stage of his career, but he doesn't need to, because not only will he be more efficient taking 3s than all those long 2s, but it'll benefit the team more because it will help their spacing.

He shot 40% from the midrange this season - attempting 7.2 per game = 5.8 points in total. Now in order to exceed that efficiency at the same volume, he'd only need to shoot at 27% from behind the arc. ONLY 27%. Don't you find it ridiculous that folks are fine with DeRozan's activity from the midrange, but yet if he were to replace those attempts with 3s and hit them at 27%, he'd actually be more efficient?

And with Pop's admittance that the Spurs were left behind, and the abundance of evidence that showed the Spurs suffered from spacing and shot generation issues more than nearly every other team, that concludes the thread. Top-5 thread of all-time for the sheer amount of posters who took Ls in it.
