The Spurs aren't that talented. It doesn't matter who their coach is.
It's hilarious how muh'fukkas keep using this tired and false talking point. This is all they can fall back on because they don't want to admit this thread was 100% spot on.

It's not about winning, in a vacuum. It's painful that I need to keep reiterating this. It's their outdated style of play, and that all comes down to coaching.

At this point of the season it's inexcusable to have this ratio of jumpshots inside the arc: outside the arc. This isn't 1994. They took nearly 40 jumpshots from 10ft-three point line; they took nearly double the amount of midrange shots than they did 3s. Their offense was a caricature of itself. And the ironic thing about this all is, their 3-pt shooting actually brought them back into the contest, but then they resorted back to taking contested midrange shots.

That falls on Pop and the rest of the coaching staff.

The score was close right down to the 5 minute mark in the 4th. They only lost by 4 points. Rudy Gay and Patty & others were hitting shots. They even out scored the Grizzlies in the 4th. That first quarter deficit they were in is what bit them in the ass at the end of the day. You reply with a smiley because you don’t have a argument.
I don't have an argument?

I literally have debunked your bullshyt about 1000x in this thread when others have brought it up. Why do you think this thread is as long as it is? The problem with you is, you're coming from a place of bias and letting your overarching opinion of Pop cloud your judgement. It's what 98% of folks are guilty of in this thread. And it speaks to the problem with how the basketball public perceives coaching, which I've pointed out to you before with your hilarious takes on who is and who isn't a good coach.

In this thread I was on your neck from the jump but remember after I gave it thought and took a step back and reanalyzed what you were saying and not HOW you were saying it (you know how you can get at times with the aggressive talk lol), I had to change my tune and agree with you. Even if Demar is gone, the philosophy still is the same because no one else is hoisting 3's at the rate it needs to be especially with how the roster is constructed. Murray has worlds of potential but he's not a good shooter but a good enough playmaker that he can get a pass but Pop doesn't create a game plan that would surround him with folks who can shoot who aren't over the hill (Patty and Gay and watch they'll be back next year too). Just like he arrogantly allowed Bertans to walk for nothing, he's going to waste a guy who's just like him on the bench in Luka Semanic. Pop doesn't give him, Walker, and Vassell time on the court to play and learn from their mistakes. It's frustrating.

Spurs not going to get a big name FA so why not let the guys you draft just play and organically get better?

Give the Spurs the minimum amount of allstars it takes to compete in the West and they would be fine. Popovich is a coaching savant but you need top down talent to compete especially in the west. The argument that he's being left behind is disingenuous. Also Derozen is not a franchise player at all. He is a second or third option at best.

Yea steph take a team to much more heights. But I think the spurs are overall more talented then current Warriors. Warriors be playing 4 unknowns and Wiggins at points :picard: just 4 other light skin nikkaz outside Wiggins st points lol

Warriors are the worse offensive team of the last 5 years with Steph off the court.

IDK where these nikkas heads are when they say the Warriors team is better than the Spurs team
