I remember we had a boycott and protest at my school where they shytcanned the actual staff in our Dining Hall and brought in Sodexho. We demanded non Pork and vegan options so they fired the staff and outsourced it. We did get non pork and veggie burgers but the staff changed. I heard one of the old cooks became a stripper.

I low key missed those brick hard waffles that they used to serve at the old Caf and tiny ass square cakes they gave us for dessert. I remember when I didn’t have money for room and board posting up at the Caf door begging hoes to bring me a cake to eat.

It was called Steagall's; sat across from the library in the center of the AUC and closest to Clark Atlanta housing. Morehouse was a stone's throw away, so students from there would come thru as well. Spelman students could come by as well, or they could just go off campus to the fast food places near by instead. It was a mom and pop store/restaurant, the food was delicious and you could get a decent meal for $5 and under. I think it's been closed for years now.
