buying cds was not overrated

you would listen to the album a lot more because you spend hard earned money on it. like if a album was wack you would still listen throught it 20 times before you threw it in the bushes

now you download, listen to the first 35 seconds of a song and skip if its wack. listen to it a few times and scroll on your ipod through the other 4000 songs. i find myself not finishing a lot of tracks because there is so many

that's real shyt, when I bought an album I damn sure as hell going to listen to that album front to back many times over, despite if 1/2 the album was filler trash

tracks do grow on you, don't know what you nikkas tlaking about if a track don't catch your attention the first time it's wack, many tracks went from being wack to classic to me just based on multiple forced listens

I used to buy CDs like crazy back in the day, then I used to order music through mail services like BMG, then off Amazon.com.

Today I only purchase music off ITunes. There's nothing like being able to buy music at the click of a finger instead of driving to 3 stores and hoping that they have the music in stock yo.

All my CDs are ripped into MP3 onto my hard drive so that if some fool decides to steal my CDs, I still have a backup collection on my drive suckas. Mp3 last forever, CDs get scratched, dropped or stolen and take up space.

I LOVE ITUNES. Listening to music seamlessly on your iPad, ITouch, and IPhone is the shyt!!
