I mean all throughout my 20s I paid for the dates but as I’ve gotten older until we become cool and I smash we splitting the bill.

When I was dating, I would just talk on the phone for two three weeks before I spend money on a date lol. Way too many woman out there looking for free meals. If I was to date again, I would honestly just flat out say on my profile, I am not looking for anything serious. If woman are attracted to you, they will bite. Don't think i have it in me to get to know someone anymore.

Nothing wrong with paying for a first date, just don't spend alot. There's a lot of places you can spend $40 on a woman and she'll have a good meal and a couple drinks.

Dates shouldn't be expensive, but for those who want to spend extra $$, then that's OK so long as the man paying understands that he will be setting a precedent on what he would be expected to do moving forward..
A women who is into a man or is interested will not put a lot of emphasis on how much money is spend so long as she is with good company.
