cats are all over the place. first you talkin about a "high end PC" and "the best gaming laptop out on the streets" (something that's gonna be around $1400+)... and then you're looking at a crappy $400 pre-built :mindblown:

first you need to figure out what kind of budget you got. you might also want to figure out if you want a full sized desktop, or a smaller 'form factor' case

I always suggest building your own PC. it's cheaper, and you can make sure all your parts are quality (don't buy cheap sata cables brehs :mjcry:). those pre-builts tend to skimp wherever they can, and they usually start by giving you a crappy no-name power source (PSU). plus it's good to have an understanding of all the parts inside your PC. chances are you'll have to get in there and do something at some point anyway

luckily there's plenty of guides and youtube videos to show you how to put everything together

This, breh.

I'd say figure out a budget, and work from there. Just understand that a lower budget means either you're getting used parts or potentially lower end parts that will likely require upgrading sooner than later. I built my first PC ever for around $700 earlier this year in February but I went kinda weak on the graphics card(270x), so I'm looking to upgrade it soon for a better card(kinda waiting to see what cards get unveiled in the next few months).

Putting the PC together was actually fun tho, surprisingly. I really enjoyed that shyt playa. :takedat:

Is that pc any good or can I build a much better one for a similar price?
That shyt is terrible breh. You can build one better for a similiar price if you go used shyt. But I'd listen to @daze23 and @Zebruh . FIgure out your budget and then go from there. The more you can spend the better. I still think $1k can get you a really good machine that will last a while.

the brehs not understanding we not into building pc's...i just wanna cop a dope new desktop and call it a day
That can be done. You just gotta pay a little more. There are plenty of companies that make dope ass pcs. Cyberpowerpc.com is the cheapest, but you got Alienware, maingear, origin pc, falcon nw, etc.

no. The video card is holding it back. 610 GT is hardly a step up from integrated graphics. Also not a fan of the processor..

If you are going to go cheap graphics card go 750 ti or something but im sure theres better out there now for budget

Real shyt. I had the 610 and had to run Street Fighter IV windowed with ass resolution to get 60fps. Mind you that game is not graphic intensive whatsoever. I got the 750 ti for like 120 and now Im running everything full screen on high or ultra settings. :blessed:

Also if you already have a desktop, check your specs, you might only need to get that 750ti to make the shyt good. My stock HP I got years ago had 6GB Ram, i3.... just threw in the 750ti and now Im legit next gen easy PZ.

their "furious" (lol) rig seems like a decent deal :ehh:

$1000 for a 4690k, 970, ssd, corsair case/psu, and nvidia beanie

leave him room to upgrade later too good case and cooling, good skeleton for sure.
