I want to move to LA or Miami

Because views ain't everything...

I've lived in some of the most beautiful places in the States (Honolulu, Miami, San Diego)

And enjoyed them all but it's expensive af...

Views are more for white or old people. I'm actually looking into working back in Miami but that's because I got friends and family there, not because of the view.

San Diego was great though.. Miami is good but that's tourist shyt, the real Miami is across the bridge and unless you making good money I would suggest not to go.

Honolulu is great to visit but living there is ridiculous. Traffic, roads, locals, expenses, etc., all suck.

But if you got the money then do it... But for the price of living there you could live somewhere else more affordable and more comfortable

Not too many black folks make money down here, especially black men, job maket is stiff and ususally givien to hispanics if the qualificatiosn are the same. If you got bread and like to play the field ou're fukking everything down in miami.

I agree though, miami aint' for most black folks, they destroying the hood and raising the cost of everything.

South Florida is the GOAT spot on Earth if you make say $80k and up. I'm in bliss whenever I go to South Florida a few times a year. I got loads of family and friends down there. I'll be making the move myself hopefully within the next 2-3 years once I stack up more in shytty ass NY/NJ.

Have you considered surrounding neighborhoods like North Miami, Miami Shores, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Miami Lakes, Miami Gardens (I used to live there)? A nice one bedroom apartment in a Miami usually start's at $800.

Alot of folks only think about South Beach when they lust after Miami. Its alot of fukked up areas in that town. If your a working class person there you will probably either be in a fukked up area or close to one.

kind of job you do? I know I took about a $700 cut out of my salary when I transferred to ATL airport because locality is lower here and still I'm only breaking like $40k.

Dade county I heard (as in next to everglades) is cheap but I heard Miami had increased by like 300% because of foreign rich tourists buying apts there just like they do midtown manhattan.

My pops grew up in Miami (Opalocka, now Miami Gardens). I used to go visit my grandma down there and naw, son. I'm good . Half the nikkas down there look like Edge James. I got an uncle named Luscious. Luscious my nikkas. Then he named his son Luscious Jr . Kid was 4 back in 01 named Lil Luscious. Only way I'd live in Miami is if I had serious bread and didn't have to live anywhere near the hood but even their middle class areas are segregated from what I remember and they wasn't too fond of black folks in their neighborhoods.
