No one takes them seriously

Hip hop on the whole takes MC Hammer and Nelly more seriously than them …

They sold but they accomplished nothing in the genre

Are you slow or are you really not a hip hop fan and not getting this for real??????

They have no respect

Please @ me when you see them in a major publication or serious site or serious hip hop YouTube channel as best rappers ever

Please @me when their peers mention them as top 5 rappers ever

Even @me when any rapper over 25 mentions them as being good

@me when any rapper not in their camp or in their friend group gives them respect

:patrice:

Gen Z GOATS (who they look to as the best) are maybe Travis Scott, Drake, Nikki, Future. Of course Cole and K Dot. Some had a spark but crashed out like Lil Baby, Denzel Curry, Chance, Vince Staples, Baby Keem, Da Baby etc. …
:patrice:
But Drake wore nail polish

Future isn’t trash or a weirdo you’re grasping for straws now …
:mjlol:
LOL @ going hard to defend Hip Hop, talking about being a "real Hip Hop fan" but then in the same breath saying Future isn't trash....That just destroys your credibility to be taken serious. Future makes great "millennial lean music" but to a real Hip Hop head he's in that trash category and you saying otherwise looks more like you are just avoiding having your original claim contradicted.

Hip hop doesn’t respect when you’re too weird ….

:patrice:

Kanye going Billboard #1 after all those weird antics destroys this comment.

And Tyler The Creator's weird gay ass has been killing it for over a decade

Or on some white aligned agenda like hating straight Black men

Keep it 100

Don’t make shyt up
:gucci:

I don't know of any rappers that ever had a white aligned agenda like hating straight Black men. You made that shyt up

@Plankton

The only thing you said that makes sense is about Tyler. He really has a good chance of being respected as an artist. Among the odd ones in hip hop, he could be one of the greats.

Your view on Future shows a lack of openness. And just because Kendrick mentioned Lil B doesn’t mean he’s widely respected. Call me when Kendrick puts him on a single - please.

As for Kanye, he was never really seen as a good rapper. My main point is that even at his peak, he didn’t get the same respect that other top rappers have. This isn’t about sales or fans; it’s about genuine respect in the hip hop community.

Kanye hasn’t made it onto credible best rapper lists, and neither has Future. It feels like you’re missing the point or being difficult on purpose. And when it comes to rappers with unusual political views, they usually don’t gain respect in hip hop.

That’s why Dochecii is on thin ice—she better figure out what she wants if it’s more than just money. Many rappers can make a lot of money but still want respect. Look at Drake: he dominated everywhere but can’t buy credibility or respect. I’m sure he’d trade all of his riches for that.

fukking idiot

Rather be an idiot then get worked over a celebrity the average dude doesn't have a chance with anyway.

For the record I don't agree with what she said cause it's corny, but I'll be damned over anything a rich artsy fart bytch got to say about me and mine.

First you said: @me when any rapper not in their camp or in their friend group gives them respect. So I post the Kendrick tweet and the goal post is moved to Call me when Kendrick puts him on a single - please. :laff:

Once you move the goal post like that, I'm done. But you can have the final word. :sas1:

But before I go. Aside from acknowledging the Lil B/Cormega collabo song that actually exists (Cormega obviously wasn't gatekeeping shyt), I timestamped Kendrick saying Lil B had the best verse in the XXL cypher that they were both in. Kendrick went out of his way to defend Lil B. Kendrick put Lil B over Cyhi :ohhh:

Kendrick wasn't gatekeeping shyt the way he was defending weird ass "I'm Gay" Lil B

It's not about this one celebrity. There are many people who share her sentiment.

Broham, you brought up Lil B when we were actually discussing Lil Uzi Vert, NBA Youngboy and Playboi Carti. It feels like you moved the goalposts. Mentioning an underground and possibly weird rapper Lil B changes the topic entirely.

But I’ll let it slide. I’m sure you understand my point. Would it hurt to just admit that I’m right?

Do the black race a favor and don't give any advice or words of encouragement to black men, especially our young ones.

I'm just appalled.

I'm not saying you gotta be Teflon Tony.

But you will do no one, let alone yourself any favors based on your defeatism.

:comeon:

How could you be right when every time your whole Hip hop is still mainly straight male hip hop heads and we are the ones who gatekeep it. If we call you trash the weirdos will have to agree was debunked all you did was keep changing goal posts?

-I brought up how Uzi, Carti and NBA wearing nail polish and being super star rappers wasn't gatekept and you moved the goal post first talking about "But but but but no one respects then excepts weirdos and the weirdos don't count because I say so"

-I then pointed out that Future would be considered trash to a real Hip Hop head (because you brought up 'Hip Hop heads' first) and you broke your neck to defend Future, knowing Damn well when Tribe and Rakim made recent albums they put all types of 2010's artists on it but would never would put Future on a song because Future is a tiers below Tribe and Rakim who represent real Hip Hop.

-You ignored me pointing out that Drake wore nail polish and he's the #1 guy in the game which also debunks the gatekeeping the gay stuff talk.

-Kanye is considered the greatest "Rapper/Producer" by many but you left out the 'producer' part to reduce him to just being a rapper when I pointed out him being a weirdo he keeps winning because if you actually added the fact that he's really a "rapper/producer" it would point out that your argument against Kanye makes zero sense.

-I then brought up Lil B because he's "weird" he's "trash" and named his album "I'm Gay" which is what you brought up first about Hip Hop being 'straight' and calling out trash and how weirdos have to fall back. But when I pointed out how Cormega and Kendrick fukked with Lil B after you asked for proof of peers acknowledging someone weird, gay and trash, you went "but but but but I'm gonna change the rules again and point out that yes Lil B is weird and he named his album "Im gay" but he is underground"

Every point I made to debunk your claim you just moved the goal post every time. FACTS.

And this time I'm really done. Peace.

You’re overlooking the lists of the greatest rappers, which is my main point.

Sales do not equate to respect.

What part of that don’t you understand?

I’m done because you’re not getting it.

Good night casual fan - buh bye.
