give these guys some years first.
Young is gonna need an oline, he isnt one of those that can transcend lack luster talent.

We knew Josh Rosen didn’t have it and countless othersI dont see how anybody can be a bust in half a first year... lol
Thats just insane.
Why because he was good in college? Some QBs get written off before they get a chance to make one start. Tahj Boyd for one from Clemson.Gotta give QBs AT LEAST a year and a half of starts before writing them off.
In 1998. When he also broke the rookie TD passing recordLol, did you see Peyton his first year?
He the one who didn't see Peyton. In 1998. When he also broke the rookie TD passing record![]()
Too much capital and investment. The same qualifiers for what made him number 1 you hope shows itself in the pros. Just saying you gotta give it some time especially for the QB position. Why because he was good in college? Some QBs get written off before they get a chance to make one start. So why are we not blaming coaching/personnel around him like people like to do with other QBs? Do you think he looks this bad if he goes to the 9ers or the Eagles? Hell, it's his rookie season so it should be expected that he struggles especially playing for a team like the Panthers.I felt this way in the preseason watching him play. If you been playing, watching, or a fan of football for a while you should be able to pick up the vibe pretty soon on a #1 overall pick at QB. And yeah Panthers made the pick wrong. Bryce Young is a career journey man in the league. Interesting thing though is that they will probably have the #1 pick and a chance to take Caleb Williams. Can they put their ego aside and do this, which would be admitting they screwed up drafting Bryce?
Yeah and threw more into than tds and had a 55 percent completion percentageIn 1998. When he also broke the rookie TD passing record![]()
Teams are less patient now though. Offenses in the NFL are running similar concepts to what they did in college.Too much capital and investment. The same qualifiers for what made him number 1 you hope shows itself in the pros. Just saying you gotta give it some time especially for the QB position.
At the time, for a rookie QB, that was fine. Why are you comparing 2023 with 1998 like you don't know the differencesYeah and threw more into than tds and had a 55 percent completion percentage
